Ko Lanta, located about 70 kilometers from
Krabi, stretches for 27 kilometers in the north to
south direction along the western coastline
of Andaman Sea in southern Thailand. It is
consisted of 52 islands of which 15 are under control of the Koh Lanta National Marine Park. Twelve islands are inhabited, among those, four are accessible: Koh Klnag, Koh Bubu, Koh Lanta Yai, and Koh Lanta Noi. The two major islands: Lanta Yai and Lanta Noi.

| TRANSPORTATION TO KO LANTA:
1) From Bangkok,
travelers can get to Ko Lanta via Krabi
province and from Krabi,
there in Krabi Town. The journey takes 2 and half hours.
2) From Phuket, you can take a shuttle boat "Phuket
- Phi
Phi" departing from Phuket Pier at 08.30 hrs and than take a shuttle boat "Phi Phi-Lanta". Another way is to take a bus or van "Phuket-Krabi" and take a boat at Chaofa Pier in Krabi town to Lanta.
