In Andaman

Very closed to Ko Lanta is Phi Phi Island which is famous for its magnificent beauty; the water is clear with white wonderful sand. Its virgin nature and its tranquil environment always attract hundreds of visitors a day. You can appreciate the incredibly picturesque panorama with the idyllic tropical beaches lining along the shores.

Beaches in Phuket are all guaranteed of their scenic beauty and its finest white sand. If they are different from one another, it is just because of the natural setting and degree of development. On each beach, facilities and accommodations are always available. The main beaches are Patong, Karon, Kata, Surin, Rawai, Kamala and others... Phuket is, in fact, the ancient city existing since Sukhothai period. Its original name was "Thalang", and was once a port of tin commerce in the early 20th century. Being considered as "The Pearl of Andaman", Phuket is the forever champion for the most visited tourists' spot in Thailand; it attracts more than 3 million visitors annually. You can find a large selection of Phuket Hotels & Resorts which are classified by beaches on Patong, Karon, Kata, others, by categories and by prices.

Opposite of Andaman

On the opposite site of the Andaman Sea is the Gulf of Thailand where there lies an island, namely Koh Samui. It is the third-largest island (247 square kilometers); lying on the eastern coastline of the Gulf of Thailand with a low plain that encompasses the mountainous area in the center. The island is 84 kilometers eastwards from Suratthani, its mainland, and 685 kilometers from Bangkok. Along the coastlines, there are various lovely beaches, fringed with green coconut trees that enhance the picturesque landscape. About 20 km north of Koh Samui, is another scenic island - Ko Pha Ngan and Koh Tao.
